An E. TN woman died as a result of being hit with a foul ball.
Jami Huling, 39, was umpiring in a charity softball game when she took a foul ball to the facemask. She was disoriented and dazed with a bit of a headache. She went home but felt well enough the next day to umpire another game.
Over the next few days, apparently the pain intensified until Wednesday, when she passed away.
