JT is a 10u utility player in her second year playing 10u. Last fall she played for a 12u team in league play.
This year for the 10u Cincy Patriots she has started at 6 different positions (ss, 2b, 1b, cf, lf and pitcher. She has logged the most innings at ss and cf.
She has only 2 errors since last fall. Both at ss.
She is a hard hitter and gets on base frequently.
Pitching wise she throws 35 and over, but has logged only a few innings this spring.
She is 5ft tall , 100 lbs. Right handed.

Currently plays for Cincy Patriots 10u out of Batavia.
Last fall rec league played for Eastern 12u. (Corner outfield)
Last summer played for KAOS 10u. (Corner outfield)
played Georgetown reC ball to start out. Made 8u all star team and played five different positions in the game.

Thanks Steve for being the first to step up!

I will add to the list.

Mak is a 2011 birth year 10U. She is primarily a pitcher but has played 1st, 3rd, catcher, and outfield for her team. She works very hard on her pitching and loves the pressure of the tight ball games.

When on the mound she has a plus fastball (last tournament weekend she was 48 consistently), great change, and a nice curveball. She hits her spots regularly. She doesn't get rattled and has as much fun as you can have on the mound.

When not on the mound she spend most of her time at 3rd base. She has a strong arm and the fearlessness that you have to have at the hot corner. Her footwork is still developing nicely which has helped her get to more balls this year.

Her bat is still developing. Being a first year 10U player it has not been a surprise that she is taking a bit of time to find her power but she nearly always puts the ball in play.

She is a 3rd year travel ball player, all with the Huber Heights Roadwarriors. She has the highest softball IQ I have ever seen from a player her age. She loves to work at home, with her instructors, and of course with her teammates at practice. We never have to wonder if we are going to get her best.

I have seen some really good ball players out there and I hope this thread takes off because it is fun to see these girls recognized. I just tried to use the template that Steve made.

2010 Birthday Maci Minister out of Westerville, OH.

Been with me these past 3 years playing up on my 09 team.... Kid is an impact player, clutch, and to be going toe to toe with some of the best 09 girls in the nation at her age is just plain ridiculous. She has lead my stretches the past 3 years and very vocal out on the field. Has faced some the hardest throwers and she doesn't strike out. We been in a ton of high level PGF tournaments and every game that things get tough, she gets things started somehow.

How about this... she is my backup catcher also, smallest kid on my team but tough as nails and throwing the big ball down to second in a 2.1 when she is supposed to be using that smaller ball still. Kid amazes me and could arguably be one of the best 2o10 East of the Mississippi River. Works unbelievable hard on her craft, Wish she lived in Gahanna though.....
