This is the video you are talking about!

There are so many great lessons in this video....about being a great teammate, about being a good coach and not worrying about upsetting a particular player, about being a supportive assistant coach and not question the system, about a coach using the best talents of the entire team to win as a team...the list goes on & on!!
College senior All American is taken out of the batting lineup and he chooses a Freshman to pinch hit in the elimination game of the Women's College World Series. Does she pitch a fit throw her bat, and be miserable because the coach doesn't have faith in her? No! She becomes the loudest fan, cheering on the pinch hitter because the coach made a decision for the best interest of the team. She cheers her on because that is what supportive teammates to...that is her teammate and that girls needs her support!
This is great because it shows the coaches how to play and manage the game to WIN, regardless what that takes, even if that means a player or parent might feel slighted that they or their daughter was replaced at a particular time.
There is another lesson for the players and supporters of the system and that has to do with trust and confidence. This video shows how to always have faith in the coach and believe in his/her system.
I could watch this video 1,000 times & still find more great life lessons in here every time! For you players...this video shows you exactly what to do when a coach replaces you when hitting, on defense, in the pitching circle....any time during the game. You cheer your teammate on and trust that the coach wants to win, just as badly as every player on the team...probably even more!
