Goshen Ball Park Comment Thread

Just wanting to hear back on the teams who played at Heisler Park in Goshen over the late summer and Fall.
Comments on the park facilities are welcomed. This way the teams who have played there can let the teams know what kind of facility the complex in Goshen has and the advantage of playing there versus other places.
Needless to say, I feel the park is a very nice park and the Goshen Jr. Sports crews do a wonderful job keeping the diamonds and outfields manicured for the girls.
Comment about the fields, the food, the restrooms, whatever...lol... just comment for the other teams to get the feel of Heisler Park in Goshen as it is a new place on the circuit.
For teams who haven't played there as of yet... go to www.heislerpark.com and check out the aerial view. When you get to their home page... click "Our teams" and on the bottom of the next page is a button to click for the view. Right beside diamond #2 and Diamond #9.. there is a new parking lot there as well. Plenty of parking. This is a private park.

Thank you,

The girls from the Adams Co. had a great time at Heisler Park in Goshen over the summer, and Tim you are correct in saying the Ballpark is a nice park nothing fancy just good place for the girls to get down, dirty and play ball! I received your email about this weekends Tourney, spoke with your wife and told her that I regret that we wont be there this weekend Sept. 20-21 but hope to be there in Nov.

My daughter has played at Heisler Park in Goshen since she was very young. The park for me is very close to home. I love that there are lots of fields and more coming. Usually the parking is not bad- but I do remember one tournament where we had to park on Kirbett Road.

Looking forward to more tournaments in Goshen.

Thanks for the comments... was the new parking lot in the back there when you had to park on the Kirbett Road? For those who don't know, Kirbett Road is a dead end road leading into the park.
With the additional fields to be built... additional parking is planned as well. They just put in drainage last year in all the fields and they drain really well.

Played a Rec/All-Star tournament here in August. Nice fields, and they do drain well. If I remember right, it rained pretty good on Friday night, but the fields were in great shape first thing on Saturday morning. Wouldn't hesitate to return for another tournament.
