This is just what I have in Northwest Ohio with 20 game winners. Anywhere in the State would be welcome for my education.

CLAY 23 - 7
PERRYSBURG 22 - 7
ROSSFORD 22 - 7
GENOA 21 - 2
ARCHBOLD 21 - 5
MOHAWK 20 - 3
NEW RIEGEL 20 - 5

I think it is going to be tough to win 20 games back to back. I think there are a few that aren't on the list that will win 20. As for the list below.

Clay - Losing Berry could result in less wins. They do return a good team. 20 is possible.

Perrysburg - I love Kimmie Bryson and she will keep them in every game, but I don't think they have enough offense. Very possible with Bryson on the mound.

Rossford - Lost way too much. Not a chance.

Genoa - The loss of Szypka will be to much.

Archbold - Kern is back and they are a good team. Good possibility of 20.

I honestly don't know enough about Mohawk and New Riegel.

As for those who weren't on the list.

Anthony Wayne - They didn't lose much. Gill, Chartier, and Kolling will lead the way. Should win 20 this year. They have a great up and coming pitcher in Emily Kurfus.

Wauseon - They are returning a strong team. They could easily win 20.

Springfield - Although they lost some offense, they are returning a strong team with some new leadership. With Gwozdz coming back they have a better than good chance of winning 20.

I pretty much agree with Heat on all those and dont have anything else to add lol, except Clay will win 20+ They have plenty of depth and expierence in the circle should translate into wins.

Notre Dame, St. Ursula and Southview all appear to have very good pitching. Are they candidates to win 20?

That's why I went with the 20 game winners from last year. I'd like some info on Mohawk and New Riegel. I'm curious to what they are returning.
I agree there are teams that CAN reach 20, That wasn't the question,.... soooooo we better add St. Ursula and Evergreen, and Elmwood to that list.
I'm curious about teams like Elyria, Geenville, and Keystone Lagrange......or anywhere in the State.

Lexington will still be tough. Top Pitcher back and only a JR. They need to get by Keystone Lagrange when they meet .

In the NCL, at least 3 teams have a shot at 20 victories this year. Akron Hoban and their pitcher Lauren McNeil should contend for the DII title once again, NDCL is always strong and their senior pitcher Kristi Janoske will be back, and Lake Catholic won 18 games and had 8-9 underclassmen starters last year.

North Union, in D3 from the Central District, and a member of the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference went 24-4 last year, and have there All-Ohio pitcher, Ashley Price, returning for her Senior year. ?Should make a run at a State Title.

Bloom Carroll went 23-8, and have won back to back D3 State titles. They have there Junior ace pitcher, Gabby Gillian returning.

Bloom Carroll or North Union will represent the Central District in D3 at the State tournament in 2008.

D1 Elyria was 30-4 and D2 Greenville was 31-4, D1 Pickerington Central was 25-5

D3 Hillsdale was 26-6 and made it to the State Semi-Finals. ?They graduated there Senior pitcher McQuillen, but they have Junior Erin Ebert, as well as incoming Freshman, Courtney Galligher, that should get them to the State again this year.

Since Division 1A Champions had a freshman pitching last year with a very solid group of returners odds are Hudson has a good chance.

Also Division 2 Hoban who lost in semis might have a good chance since their number one was a freshman also

Hey this is good stuff, keep it coming!! Is it okay to ask who the pitcher for Hudson was? For us up here in the NW corner, it seems like you always have to deal with Elyria to get to STATES. They just seem to reload every year.

The program sold at the state tournament last year listed all kinds of tournament records. I believe one pitcher(can't recall her name) actually won four in a row. I also belive the Springfield Team by Akron won four in a row, but with different starting pitchers.
