I guess , i will just have to be satisfied with beating Michigan and winning another big ten Championship and not the national championship! Not too bad ,if you like finishing second every year. Like Ricky Bobby said; If you dont finish first, you finish LAST!!!

I would not say you have to be satisfied but the data says he is a pretty good coach. I will compile a list of Urban Meyer and Pete Carrol in the same time frame and see what the comparision looks like.

Pete Carrol is 78-14 ( .847 winning %) and 5-2 in bowls with 2 BCS titles since 2001

Urban Meyer is 70-16 (.814 winning %) and 4-1 in bowls with 1 BCS title. Urban's record includes 2 years at BGSU and 2 years at Utah and then 3 years at Florida.

That was the game that was the end for Copper, tUOS players lost all of their composure, lots of fights etc, acted very un Ohio State ( I am a Michigan fan, I mean that as a compliment, very classy school, their fans are tools, but the school is great lol ) Otherwise Copper would probably still be there lol, it was the way they lost that did him in.

He is not a great coach, he is a solid coach. Ultra conservative and that wins. The only time that isnt effective is when your playing against a team with equal to slightly better talent. He will never out scheme somebody, so when they play these types of teams (florida, USC, LSU etc. ) they will probably get beat.

JT grinds the clock, boring football for sure, but when you have superior talent then the other team that prevents you from being upset. The is why his record is so strong.

They will probably run the table, I am not sold on PSU, the Wisconsin game is the one if they lose a B-10 game this year will be the game. Night game in Madison will be tough, those knucklehead students there are insane.

OT~Hey.....if you lived up there you would be insane too, all flat land and bitter cold winters! (Lived there for a couple years)....Alothough everywhere you go there is a bar (that could cause some student craziness).....you could never get lost.....even in the middle of nowhere there as bars......a "town" with 3 houses and 4 farms has a bar within a mile....haha But I do miss it.....

Nice job on the on the stats!!! I stand corrected!! However, like I said, JT dominates the Little 11,and loses BOWL GAMES!!! I didnt see his bowl record in your elaborate states! You cant take it from him that he is a great REGULAR season coach, in fact he IS pretty much unbeatable! But national perception is that he cannot beat the great teams , especially in BOWL games.OSU will no longer get votes at the end of the year by the voters because of this!!! I think OSU's chances of being in the title game are OVER!!!

YES BUT WE WERE GOING BACK ONLY 6 YEARS, AFTER ALL PLAYERS CAN ONLY PLAY FOR 5 YEARS. In 2002 that was not his team nor did he recuirt anybody to play on that team, it was still Coopers team. Bottom line is does OSU and the fans want Tressal to be their coach or were we better off with COOPER, I think that is a easy question.
