The link above shows a short film that is based on the true story of the girls who carried the batter around the bases after she hurt her ankle rounding first base on a homerun to win the game. I'm sure most of you know the story but the film is worth a watch if you have not seen it.

I actually e-mailed the coach after this story broke. Took about 2-3 days but I actually got an e-mail back thanking me for the kind words. Would'nt the world be a wonderful place if everybody was as kind hearted as these two young ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!
