GS3 is dedicated to a quality softball experience for the youth of our community. Our mission is to foster, promote and provide a positive forum to teach softball to young girls. We strive to focus on providing an affordable, well-serviced league with a strong focus on building character, sportsmanship and teamwork. The GS3?s end of the year tournament will celebrate the accomplishments and dedication to a whole season of hard work. The primary focus of the GS3 will be the players and development of softball in central Ohio.
The following provides pertinent information related to the GS3 league. Further details are available per request, or can be discussed during the league meeting held in December. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
Age Groups: 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School
League Nights: 2 Night League Chooses: Monday/Wednesday League -or-Tuesday/Thursday League
1 Night League Chooses: Monday through Thursday
Divisions: Each league night shall have both a Premier and a Challenger Division. The Premier Division is intended for higher level, more experienced teams (i.e. ?A? level in many programs). The Challenger Division is intended for younger, less experienced teams (i.e. ?B? level in many programs). Premier and Challenger divisions are being offered for both league nights to provide optimal flexibility in accommodating team schedules.
Schedule: 20 Game Scheduled Season - Will consist of 10 scheduled double headers with a 1 hour and 10 minute time limit for each game(no new innings) ? all teams will be off during the week of July 4th
Umpires: GS3 Assigned Umpires ? Home teams are responsible for umpire payments during regular season. GS3 will provide and pay for all umpires during tournament play. One umpire will be assigned for regular season games and two umpires will be assigned for semi ?final, and final tournament games.
Season: May 29th- July 15 (No games during the week of July 1-7, 2012). Make-up of July 16th- July 22, 2012.
Tournament: There will be an 8 Team Tournament for each age group and each division, adjusted accordingly if the division has less than 8 teams.
1st round - Scheduled on 7/23/12 @ the higher seeds home field.
2nd round - Scheduled on 7/24/12 @ the higher seeds home field.
Final Round ? Scheduled on 7/25/12 ? Night of Champions Tournament

Full 7 inning games with International Tiebreaker. Individual awards will be awarded to the top 2 teams in each division at the finals.
Cost: 2 Night League: $195.00 per team ? payable via MasterCard, Visa, Discover. Online registration is available.
