What is the best way to handle this:

Your DD is playing and is happy with the team she is on but a friend's team is going to be short of players and their coach has asked your DD to play on a weekend her team is off. How and what do you do?

Easy you talk to the coach your dd is already playing for. If there isn't a roster rule violation they will probably be ok with it. My dd did this a bunch last year and has made many friends on many different teams. .

I coach SB's daughter and I will say that he is correct. I have no problem with granting permission as long as it will not be a roster problem in the future. It is all about girls playing softball.

She is lucky that she has played for many good coaches over the years and made many friends. I could list them, but it would be a who's who's on OFC. Since last year 6 different travel teams, counting indoors. She loves softball and has made many friends . She has played 8 different spots, so that helps being a sub. As many will tell you, it is where do you want me coach ? TEAM, not me attitude .

Some if the kids on a couple teams my dds filled in for last year have become great friends. It makes it more fun when you run into them later. You cheer them on, they cheer your kids on. Thats what I thought this was about, playing ball, and meeting friends. Gota love the summer, winter, fall, spring??????? Does this ball thing ever stop??????
