As most of you know, I have been giving effort & energy to help building the Reds Urban Youth Academy for the inner city youth. The Reds also are striving to help the baseball & softball communities as a whole by providing FREE seminars on various topics. One such seminar is forthcoming on Feb 8th regarding the subject of guiding the college bound athlete. Rick Wire will be the presenter & he takes you through process of finding the right college for your child through his experience he went though w/ his son Cody who had a long career in the NFL. I have attended this presentation before & it is worth 1.5 hours of your time. Also another nice perk to attending is that you will have the ability to purchase the ACT/SAT Power Prep Course (either DVD or online) for only $20 as its regular price is $250. My daughter is currently using this program to prepare for her testing & her comment has been that she finds it extremely helpful. Below is the full info on seminar.
