We got a ton of rain around 2pm and the fields were all flooded with standing water , and as soon as the rain stopped the ground crew was out and dozens of bags of diamond dry was used and play all got in .. Excellent job for sure and much appreciated . They could have just said " forget it " . Thanks !

I can attest for it personally...they attacked the fields with a vengeance. Needless to say there were games that had to be moved back but the tourney went on.
Don McDaniel did an amazing job as TD, keeping his cool and making the calm decisions.
Mark Redfern and the rest of the fields crew (including many umpires, coaches and other volunteers) handled the rain by pushing water, operating the pumps, raking the fields, etc.
That's why Lancaster tourneys will almost always be played.
Thanks for all volunteers.

Great tournament & hats off to the field crew! They had their work cut out for them on Saturday, but they did a great job!
