First-year head coach Betsy Hada and the Heidelberg College softball team will host a Pitching Clinic January 18, 2009 in Seiberling Gymnasium, on the campus of Heidelberg.

Hada, a 2001 Heidelberg alumnus, is the clinic director. She will be assisted by members of the Heidelberg coaching staff, along with current players, as well as Erica Beach, assistant softball coach at The Ohio State University.
Beach, the featured clinician, is in her second season as an assistant coach at Ohio State. A season ago she helped lead the Buckeyes to the Big Ten Championship. Beach joined the Buckeyes? coaching staff following an outstanding collegiate playing career at Arizona State, where she received All-PAC 10 honors all four years and was named an All-American twice. She continues to play professionally for the New England RipTide.
