Hello All,

Coaches Brian Glass purchased $3,155.00 in equipment on July 8th and the check bounced. The check was a company check with the team as the payor. We were promised restitution on 4 separate occasions and now Brian Glass no longer responds to calls

The only contact I have for Brian is 330-519-9836

Posted was edit by admin @ TheSoftballZone. Please take notice that the team name you used in this thread has been removed by the administrator. The decision to remove the name (SPC Sports) used in the thread was due to the fact, this program name is being used by other programs as well and just not in Ohio. With tryout seasons just around the corner we don't want any confusion, unwanted attention or grief to any individual or programs not involved.

I personally believe you should have left the program name in this thread so parents and players know not to waste their time trying out for that specific organization in Ohio. Also, if I am not mistaken, this guy lives in Hubbard, Ohio. I will PM you his Facebook page. I have a friends who children were on that now defunct team. He took their money as well.

I didn't believe it fair to the program, plus we have other programs using the same name outside of Ohio.

Also just so your aware the program did pay the bill once it's was brought to their attention by this thread.

This is one of those story - I knew Brian and always seemed like a nice enough guy - Actually he was very nice.
He was kind of odd but I would have never expected this kind of thing.

It's been a few years so who knows what goes on...

I met Brian Glass and helped him coach this past season unfortunately because my daughter & other families girls i knew played for him BEFORE I knew what he was all about. Another coach and I have left him completely with our girls after speaking to many folks including but not limited to small business owners that were never paid for goods/services and a friend of mine with the local ASA umpires confirmed what he has been told about Brian not being honest.
EVERYONE: STEER CLEAR OF BRIAN GLASS AS HE IS "NOT" HONEST WITH BOTH OUR GIRLS NOR PARENTS.

I understand why you took it out. Glad the business got paid but I hope the guy has to pay restitution to the program.

Actually the program was no help at all, and did NOT pay restitution. It was paid by a family member unbeknownst to Mr Glass

A few times they called the store to find out what was going, responded with they weren't surprised, but offered no help or means to contact Brian. They also refused to assist with the legal matter. And banned me from their Facebook page lol

Wasn't the money owed to SPCSPORTS on this account taken care of. It's my understanding you have received full payment.

I can guess where he might be on August 13 from 10-1. http://www.thesoftballzone.com/show...ce-expanding-divisions&highlight=330-519-9836
Good luck with your money. Hopefully you can get it resolved.

Sad that it looks like he is using the OFC to fleece more parents...
This organization needs to step up and do the right thing and that may be helping with prosecution or paying the outstanding bill. especially, if the equipment was used within the organization.

To me, if an organization wants to maintain it's good name, then it better either control the purse strings of their teams or make good on their promises. If someone represents your organization and wears the colors and name of your organization, then its up to you to make sure the suppliers and customers are taken care of ... and if the organization doesn't want to get stiffed for the money, then they should be the ones taking the crooked coach to court if they don't want to get a bad name. Its BS that a family had to be the ones to come up with the money to pay SPC, and both the new and old organization should be called out if that's what it takes. Maybe his new organization doesn't know who their new coach is, and they should be alerted of this as well, so they can deal with it appropriately. I know I got stiffed once for a wristband system and that I will not only never do business with that coach again, but the organization either. I reached for them, and they did nothing.

This subject really frosts me. 95% of the people and organizations in the fastpitch world are good and honest people, and it's a shame the other 5% can ruin it for everyone else. I just don't get why an organization thinks they can be immune from this. If a company hires a crook and that crook represents the organization to the outside world, is the company going to say "sorry that we hired a crook and they ripped you off ... better luck next time?" Hell no, they're not going to do that ... they're going to make things right. Call out the old and new organization I say. Ricky certainly has the right to not allow this in the Forum because it's his Forum and I am sure he can't afford to get sued in this litigious world we live in, but I personally want them called out and I want organizations to learn a lesson, and to prevent other people from getting ripped off in the future.
