No problem CentervilleFP. If you are looking to get the "stank" out of uniforms/clothing our Tide w/ Febreze is designed to do that since it has malodor control agents that activate during wash.

DD's batting glove stank defies all scientific logic. It is like dark matter, but smelly....

We have had great luck with LA's totally awesome ($1 per bottle in Deals and Dollar stores) even when the normal recommendations did not work. DD wore white uniforms as a catcher for a while and we tried everything offered on here so far and nothing brought all the stains out. We were dealing with Spano dirt tho which is not like any other dirt I have tried to remove from her uniforms before! :) LA's Totally Awesome was awesome and at least removed more than any other item did.

Then you haven't been around me after 20 sliders with extra onion chased down with 6 pints of guinness.......

The smelliest things from my dd's are their volleyball kneepads......

Cascade works well due to having activated bleach - which is generally color safe. Also the enzymes in the product work against soil as well. Do not use Cascade liquid gel on colored clothes because its bleach system is Hypochlorite & will "bleach" out colors!!!

Yes dryer sheets have tons of alternative uses such as mentioned before but will only mask the odor w/ perfume versus elminating. A few of the most popular uses for dyer sheets are as bug repellency since most of our perfumes have citronellol &/or citronellal. In the summer just tie one on your belt loop. Sometimes I will put them up in the sweat band on the inside of my ball cap or rub it over my arms & skin. Before you do this make sure you do not have skin sensitivity to this. Also, used dryer sheets are great for cleaning windows because they leave no streaks.

Febreze fabric refresher is safe on cloth & also contains malodor removal technology so you can spray it on gloves..

I used to love Febreze when it first came out, but then it started smelling like mosquito repellent and I quit using it.

This has been a great topic--learned a lot. Kavin, you remind me of my mother. She sold Amway for years, and depending on the type of stain and material, she would use one of the products to remove stains. Once she took a dress of my daughter's out of the trash when I couldn't get the blueberry stain out, and she took the stain out with one of her Amway products.

luvthegame,

I guess you can say laundry is my life :) Take a look at the Febreze section now - a lot new scents. We actually just launched Febreze sport aerosol which is great for gym bags, bat bags, lockers etc to rid odors. I can't say what but we are doing lots in the company for malodor removal especially on dri-fit type materials.

Les remember the Mr. Clean guy? The bald headed guy with the tee shirt and big arms....Kavin may be the reincarnation of him in the munchkin format from the Wizard of Oz! My wife and another lady was fascinated with his house hold tips on laundry products when he stopped by to pick up a bat the other night and he knows what works better than anyone as that is his job....he knows his business and could have a help tip line on the OFC to help the ladies and Sonny could chair the coffee club meetings at Denny's and Kavin could speak there for a fund raiser :D

What Bretman is to rules....Kavin is to stains, smelly batting gloves and cleaning techniques for uniforms and windows!

As I multi-task from my treestand (OFC and deer hunting, maybe Katjoe can find a pic of that one), I'm laughing out loud to this. So if I don't see any deer today it's your fault.

Kavin is a true company man, I've yet to get hooked up with any P&G products, not even one dryer sheet or scoop of tide. I did have to watch his commercials on the web though. Shouldn't we get paid for that?

Maybe if you share some of the meat he will trade you something for it....on second thought you might just buy the products straight out and that includes buying hamburger if you are no better at hunting than you are at teaching hitting :D

Remember DO NOT shoot the farmers cow! I saw a picture on the internet where the farmers painted the word cow in big orange letters because he had one shot the year before. If I can hit one in a car surely you should be able to shoot Bambi while it is eating or sleeping or using the outdoor facilities. Good hunting and be careful!

I also have some cow tips. To get that orange paint off the cow after deer hunting season is over, all he needs to do is mix a little Dawn power scrub w/ Tide w/ Bleach powder & he'll have the cleanest cow in dairy land!!!!

Tell Sonny if he doesn't drull he does not have to worry about the lollipop stains!!! I'm all for a Q&A section of the OFC regarding household tips for cleaning.

Les - I have some products for you - heck I even have an autographed bottle of Downy Simple Pleasures just for you :) Good look hunting!!! I once killed a deer in the wild by hitting it with a softball - I bent at the waist & soften my knees & flung the ball & what do you know - I hit the darn thing :) It's a powerful technique!!!!

Mr Clean's little son!!!
