What is a good, reasonably priced bat to use for those 40 degree high school games? DD uses a demarini CF4 Black as her travel bat but doesn't want to chance damaging it in the cold. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I kind of try to stay away from Easton products. As for the weather, we seem to be stuck in the wet rut again. Hope that doesn't carry thru to spring. Wearing my carharts to an early May game should probably be outlawed, but dang it was cold!

The force is an excellent cold weather bat. I would highly recommend it. The Rip it is another. I have no idea why they put the R/T on the list. Dont get me wrong in my opinion it is one of the best fastpitch bats made. It isnt a great cold weather bat. and they used to say on the owners paper not to use it below 50 degrees. Which is pretty common for Ohio softball in march and april.

2005 Louisville Slugger TPS Catalyst FPC205 if you can find one is suppose to be an excellent cold weather bat from forums I have read. I bought my daughter one that was brand new in the wrapper off of ebay. I don't know if they are still high school legal but they are legal for ASA. I believe the FPC305 was banned by ASA so be careful if your looking for one. The FPC205 yellow with blue writing the 305 is yellow with red writing.
