High School Home Run record

Anthony Wayne completed the regular season with 25 home runs in the tough NLL league.
I think that this is a direct result of Right View Pro and the hitting instruction of Leon Woods. Congratulations to AW for a great regular season.
The Best in the Midwest coaches clinic in November will have Don Slaught, founder of the RVP system.
A couple of new hitting tools that Leon has been using is the Insider bat... www.insiderbat.com and the Total Control Sports ball www.totalcontrolsports.com that he incorporates with his RVP lessons.
FAST Wizards has become a distributor of both of the above hitting tools. One high school coach reported that the team batting average went up 20 points in about two weeks of using these.

WLS did hit 29 last year and that still is the State record unless someone broke it this year. While I agree that perhaps the RVP (very good system) had something to do with many other things have to be factored in as well including strentgh of schedule, type of fields, etc.

In any case 25 dingers is a nice total and I'm sure that most teams would be thrilled with that. Congrats.

This is the 2nd year WLS has hit 29 and they are not done yet. The AD didn't submit it to OHSSA last year so the record was not changed. Hopefully it will be taken care of this year.

Just for the record the NLL is one of the top leagues in the state. The AW team is one of if not the best all around hitting team I have seen in 4 years.

That's fine but all we can go by is the official record, and currently that's 26 and AW isn't done yet either: )

congrats to AW, they are knocking the ball out for sure, should be a GREAT game with Springfield thursday, I'm planning on going over there.

Interesting thing, watching Springfield knock out balls etc. they are a more rotational type hitting team, as is clay for the most part, compared to the linear right view pro. We've used both in our coaching. I think having a "hitters mentality" and PRACTICE are what are key, especially that hitters mentality!

WLS hit #31 in district final win today.

WLS could not hit an average pitcher at best in the State championship game against Hillsdale. I have to seriously question the quality of pitching they faced if they hit 31 before that game....:confused:

At 43 feet now and the way the ball was being hit this fall, this record will fall this year in high school. It sure made a difference this fall.
