Well I'm thankful to have good enough weather to actually get our scrimmages in this year. Last year the 1st time we, (A.W.), got outside was a scrimmage and then our first game. This year we really needed the opportunity to get outside and get all these new people in place. So far so good, they are just scrimmages. We're moving people around and I'm sure the teams we're playing are doing the same.
I know there was alot of action at the Panther Pre-Season Event in Maumee, I think 16 varsity teams involved and some good match ups,...just scrimmages, but nice to get a feel for how your progressing.

Aren't you two talking about 2 different games: the scrimmage from this year and the Division 1, Region 3 district final game from last year?

we agree to disagree, and I am cool with that. It happens everyday. As for bulletin board, everybody plays better when challenged.
The better team won that day because the number one pitcher was done for the day. When Myers left, the score was 4-2, and those TV runs were unearned.
Look, I predict TV will breeze thru their schedule (looked it up, and no loses there). GC will be much more difficult, but it will definately pay off in the end. They will be apart during tournament time, so when they meet in the regionals, we will see."
"flexone, Taylor was not done for the day, the TV coaches had rotated Mays and Taylor all year in that manner, Taylor was fine and had plenty left in the tank. If I remember correctly, the final score was 2-1 (GC). Both teams had a run score on an error and I think Coleman (I could be wrong) hit the hr off of Mays. I don't remember Myers ever leaving the game. Fun game to watch though. Grove City is a very good team and has the potential to win State. I wish nothing but the best for the Grove City kids, they have worked hard to be in this position. TV definitely has the easier league schedule, that definitely doesn't help them for a D1 tournament, but that is just the way it is. I would love to see them play an OCC schedule. Good Luck this season."
