The Hiram College softball team will be hosting their 2017 winter prospect clinic on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Martin Field House. This prospect clinic is open to all 9th thru 12th graders. We will host pitchers and catchers from 1:00p until 2:15p. Starting at 2:30p until 5:00p we will conduct our offense and defense portion of the clinic. The cost for the pitcher/catchers session is $25.00. The cost for the offense/defense portion of the clinic is $50.00. You can participate in both for $60.00.
PROSPECT SKILLS CLINIC STAFF: Head Coach Scott Pohlman and Assistant Coach Megan Pleskovic will lead the instruction. The coach?s will be assist by members of the 2016/17 Hiram Softball team.
CLINIC DESCRIPTION: Student/Athletes will be given the opportunity to learn softball fundamentals and advanced techniques throughout the duration of the clinics. Pitchers and catchers will participate in various drills and workouts, and following that players will rotate through offensive and defensive stations. Immediately following the clinic, time will be allotted for a question and answer session.
EQUIPMENT: Student/Athletes should bring batting helmets, bats, batting gloves, gloves, catcher?s gear, and tennis shoes.
CLINIC CHECK-IN: Check-in will open 30 minutes prior to the clinic listed start time.
PAYMENT: Cash, Checks, or Money Orders; Makes checks payable to Hiram College Softball
