Woodridge High School and the Diamond Dogs are having an offensive and defensive clinic Sept 16 & 17 at Woodridge High School. We are bringing Gerry Mauro from California in to put on the clinic.

Gerry goes around the country speaking and working with many different groups putting on these clinics. He has been to the OHSFPSA coaches clinic and done seminars for them, he was the ASA gold coach in the 1990's and won the ASA Gold Nationals as a coach. If you want to know more about Mr. Mauro you can go to www.gmsports.us and read more about him. He teaches one of the more modern days of hitting and fielding that is out there.

The clinic will be 2 days with hitting on Saturday the 16th from 12-4 and fielding on Sunday the 17th from 12-4. You can come to both or just one.

The clinic will be $60 pre-registered or $65 at the door. Registration forms will be available at www.ohdiamonddogs.com on tuesday or contact John Schneider at joschneid6@aol.com or Dan Schneider at woodridgesb@aol.com for more information.

Where is Woodridge located? We are in the Youngstown area do you know how far you are from there? Thanks.

We are about 1 1/4 hrs from youngstown. Woodridge is about 1 mile from Blossom Music Center. The address is 4440 Quick Rd. Peninsula if you want to look it up on map quest. 76 west to 8 north to steels corners rd. go west to state rd turn right on state, quick is on the left about 1/4 mile. There is a bowling center right on the corner, the school is 1/2 mile down.

We would like to make this clinic a big success and would like to introduce Gerry to the area and let people get to know him. We only have 25 girls committed so far and need a few more to make this possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top level California coach. My daughter worked with Gerry a few years ago and had a great experience. Her hitting and fielding mechanics were greatly improved. Don't miss out, take advantage of the opportunity!
