What I have been doing with my girls' (13-18 year-olds, travel, rec and high school) is individual instruction. I work on mechanics first (I believe in rotational hitting with a compact swing), then to proper bunting technique (can't hit if you can't bunt), then we move to tee work, hitting wiffle balls first to get the mechanics down, then to regular balls (outside real balls, inside Lite-Flites). Then to a lite-flite machine whether indoors or out (24 bunts, working on placing the bunt, then 24 hitting away, then 12-24 on hitting from the opposite side of the plate, then 24 with a pitch count). I schedule them 2 at a time during the week and work with each about 30-40 minutes. I have found that they are much more focused with the individual instruction rather than all of the distractions having all of the girls together at once.
