With pitchers and catchers starting this Monday and tryouts shortly after and our current northwest ohio weather, what is a good time home to first with snow boots on in three feet of snow!?

Would it be fair to let them wear hockey skates instead of cleats?

Don't forget to include time for them to dig down to the actual first base bag, so they'll need to be carrying a pick or a shovel while they run.
