I do understand why most HS coaches have a thick skin and want things a certain way. If the coach has been there for a long time, he or she has ticked off parents a time or two. Since most of the kids are from the neighborhood the word gets around that the coach has an agenda so that gets passed down through the years and parents get a preconceived idea about this coach when all or she is trying to do is work with these young ladies to make them better athletes. Travel coaches however are lucky to have the same family or friends of family for more than a few years when that's all the High School coach ever gets. Of all the people that posted something negative on this thread about their DD High School coach, how many had a predetermined view of that coach;&
