This is our first year of TB (14U). Can I get some ideas about the unusual things, you wouldn't think of to pack, that really comes in handy for the weekend.

Welcome to TB maddball44! The above list will do but you might want to add "money" another time. Also, get some sort of gas card that has cash back or rewards!
One more thing.....if you are taking the whole family, which most do in first year, take EXTRA snacks and drinks for the siblings. Or the concession stands will make you have to add "money" a third time on the above list!
All you need is your daughter, a mode of transportation, & a red solo cup! Welcome to TB and good luck to you guys this summer! Oh and enjoy because it will be gone before you know it!
Yep, that is her. All of the above suggestions are good, but I have a few of my own. Dryer sheets to place under the corners of the hotel mattress. Garbage bags to pack all of the dirty clothes in to throw right into the laundry when you get home. As you can tell I have some phobias. lol
Cash should be listed several times on the list as well.

Super Glue for minor cuts and blisters
Sharpie to date stamp home run balls
Midol
Baggies for quickie ice packs
Washcloths for cooling off between games
Extra underpants in case of unexpected period. Keep them in the car, not at the hotel.
Disposable toothbrushes
All these suggestions everyone is givingns might seem like a lot to carry, but a tackle box is perfect for storage.
I don't see the obvious, if I missed it, then I apologize. Cooler to keep beer, I mean gatorade, cold! When I pack the truck, the cooler, with my blue coke, goes in first.
empty pepsi bottle, redds apple ale looks like just like in the bottle! dannyboy I love the "blue coke" comment! Honestly most of the "real" stuff has been covered in previous posts. But clearly its obvious what is really important in travel ball.........money and alcohol. Any alcohol will do, but on thoses bad days when your dd team may lay an egg in a tourny, thats when you have break out the big guns back @ the hotel. I'm talking Makers Mark, Good Ol buddy Mr. Jim Beam, and his brother Jack. When theyre playing good Budweiser seems to be a crowd favorite. Maybe thats just the crowd I hang around with? Nope...... I've been to enough tournaments its everybody. lol
