Arrange for somebody to cut the grass, take care of the pool, and take care of the family dog.
You'll never use your pool again, except to knock off brick dust at 10PM. The garden and landscape areas will look like deserts & your grass will look like ****.
But who cares? It's softball!

We always throw a case or two of water in the back of the vehicle, leave it there and replenish it as needed throughout the summer. Always used to seem to run out of water for dd, siblings, friends and ourselves. Now we are set! Good luck and enjoy!

Arrange for somebody to cut the grass.....

When she was old enough to play TB, I taught her how to cut the grass. Payment for all of the new gloves, bats, lessons w/ Tim and Britt Duncan and other misc. expenses. Now does she do as good of a job as me, heck no, but she does it well enough that I don't get fines from my Home Owners Association. She keeps trying to pass the buck to her younger brother, but nope. What else does she have to do in the summer while I am at work.

Throw everything you can think of in the RV and then some and roll out. Most importantly bats, gloves, cleats and uniforms. Anything else is a bonus, lol.

The best investment you can make outside of hitting lessons with Tim Duncan is an RV to travel to all of those tournaments to put that great swing into action. Tim, that 20% "plug" commission check can be sent to Chris Zaker C/o some softball diamond somewhere, I'm sure to get it. :)
Seriously...an RV. That's the best advice ever. Stick the entire team in there in between games on those hot July days & sleep in them at night saving $200 + per week PLUS in hotel room charges. Plus you can bring your own food instead of dropping $200 per weekend in garbage food.

you do save a ton of money and best of all, it is yours, not rent to someone else.
