Got a chance to hold half of my practice outside today before it got too dark! It was really nice to get outside. We have been cooped up indoors for months. The girls really enjoyed it as well. The season is right around the corner!!

Im hoping to smell softball in the air, I got a huge whiff of a skunk..yes a skunk when I got home tonight. Its just one of the benefits of that good ol' country livin'..

It got up to 50 here, but that wind from the lake stopped the full enjoyment. I can't wait until the fields dry up. We can pitch on dirt and not in my basement.

If rain wasn't in the forecast starting around 5 pm on Tuesday and raining for three days.. I'd say open the diamonds up and let the air help the drying process.
But, I wouldn't open them up if it is going to rain.

Somebody should of held a tournament in SW Ohio last weekend. It was doable.

I agree it's Ohio. We usually start off at the Boardman tourney at the end of April, April 23rd this year. We have played when it was 75 and we played while it was 37 and flurries. I really hate when we get teased like this, one week sunny and 55 the next two inches of snow. Softball and boating!!! I live for the warm weather!!
