I have zero problem and your analysis is ridiculous.

I guess you are right. Why don't you move to Hartford and have Phil Schonberg teach your DD what she needs to know, although after a few lessons you'll probably be telling him what he's doing wrong...

Well if Play-Two went to swobat, simply check with the instructors their and start narrowing down the list on who this person is. They should have a good Idea on who took their daughter there and didn't agree with instruction and then didn't return.

ri_domination ... we know this is the same buttnugget that started this the last time. Pretty soon "it" will start swearing again and challenging people. Then its IP address will get banned and it will go buy a new ipad or whatever to try to show that it knows more than everyone else. When it grows up it will realize that there are so many different ways to train players, and so many ways that players learn. But it will be too late for it and his DD will be stuck with a knowitall parent that pigeon holed her into its flavor of the day. Sad - but predictable.

Or Denny Tincher in Va. Heck he isn't very successful.

This thread has turned into the garbage found at Discuss Fastpitch or Yappi....Not worthy to be at top of OFC

Good lord, I go to Florida for 5 days for work, and this all breaks out? I didn't take the lap top because things have been a bit slow on here....shame on me, shame on me! Not sure what was said but I read all 6 pages...... gotta say it is quite crazy, even by my standards. Anyhow, wish I had something to say but pitching to me might as well be Chinese Algebra. Good luck getting this sorted out.

Play-two:
IMHO, there is very little difference between HE and IR. When teaching the HE technique, an emphasis is always made at "pinky first" when approaching the release zone. When the arm reaches this zone, a hard pronation action occurs at the forearm to achieve this release (otherwise, there should be no 12-6 spin), and the follow through just happens to be a bent elbow, as opposed to an extended, pronated forearm.

Lewam3, at least now I have a clue as to what the h*ll we're talking about. As a father of a (retired) pitcher, I read through 5 pages of this BS and still wondered what the big deal was. I still don't care ... You guys, knock yourselves out arguing this one.

I would like to thank all that contributed to this thread as it made for a great way to pass the time during yesterdays rain delay!! I know nothing about pitching and even less now. It would be even better if someone could find the first posting about the same subject.

Hello Manitou Dan and FlaRays... I have been reviewing this and you all seem to handling this just fine. Any more problems let me know. Just so you know I am hiding in the background and watching.

I envy all who can still coach. I would give my right arm to still be able it one more time.
