Got a chance to see a few 14U games last year traveling with our younger group, but from what we saw there were quite a few good players in that age group. Should be a lot of schools all over who get some good players the next few years. Has anyone ever kept track of the impact freshmans have had on teams over the last few years?

I do not know her name, but I'm pretty sure Marysville has a freshman coming in this year. I believe she is a very good pitcher. Just what they need over there to compliment their hitters. I'll will miss that conference match up this year.Probably the best hitting team in Central Ohio area. Audrey Plant from Upper Arlington has a bright future.
Only 30 days till P/C's report

Are you talking about Dani Steepe? Had her on the gun at 59 last summer.

Springfield-Holland Ohio has a great freshman class. I would put them up against any other freshman class. They have 7-9 girls that play travel. Look out in 3-4 years.

I have no connection to these schools at all, and I have seen Sprinfields kids play but in NWO I would rank the incoming Frosh classes as Clay, AW and Springfield. all three are very good, I do think AW has a chance to be a very special class, their Incoming pitcher IMO is the best out of the three top pitchers of each school, with Clay's #1 inc pitcher being a VERY close second.

Teays Valley has some good freshman coming in. Most of them play for Vikings Elite and Liberty. The Taylor girl pitches for Vikings Elite. Saw her pitch against Xpress in the NSA WS last season and did very well against a very good hitting team. It will be a few years before they make any noise though.

Oh make no mistake I think Springfields class is very good. I have seen all three pitchers I have referred too pitch more then once. And I have seen Springfields other pitchers pitch more then once too. I gave AW pitcher the nod because of her stick, she can mash. If we are talking about the top incoming frosh pitchers in NWO better not discount the kid from P-burg. She was best I saw in our area the past 2 years.

Good luck in the upcoming season, I think softball in NWO is as good as it has ever been which is great for us softball junkies lol. Top seniors throughout the NLL and City leauge some great juniors and sophs and some really good incoming freshman.

Hey you NWO softball nuts, I'm an absolute Anthony Wayne flag waver, and they've got 4 freshman that will have good high school careers if they stay on track, but I got to say Springfield has several players coming in that are going to make some older players uneasy, especially since they only graduated 2. Four pitchers, with one leading the pack, a great left side infielder with a solid stick and tough as nails, a solid catcher and a good 2nd baseman as well. Perrysburg is getting a number one pitcher out of their freshman, and Clay is getting a solid battery as well. Wauseon hsa at least 3 very good ballplayers. ;)In a couple of years all these freshman will be banging on each other and it'll be great due to all of the friendships they've developed while playing travel ball.
