Does anyone know anything about the new Miken Icons. Are these good bats? What about the Icon Lite?

Just remember that all 2009 composite bats will be about 20% behind the 2008 bats right out of the wrapper due to the new testing standards. Once they are broken in they should approach the same performance as the 2008 bats had right out of the wrapper.

Somebody advertises on craigslist a rolling service that suppose to break a bat in. Not sure that's legal. I would guess not. Anyone know? Is it worth doing?

Even if you roll the bat it will still only get to about 15% to 20% less of the 2008 composite bats performance. The rolling process will only get the bat to it' peak performance sooner. The peak performnace the the 2009 composite bats will still be no more then the 2008 bats right out of the wrapper.
