Int'l tiebreaker

Curious as to the philosophies of coaches when facing an Int' tiebreaker situation. When you are home team do you focus on getting two outs letting the run score from 2nd if the opposing team can get two bunts down so you end up needing only 1 out with no one on base, residing to yourself the fact that you should be a le to score at least 1 run also. The opposite to this is focusing on not letting the run on 2nd score but risking more base runners in the process.

My opinion is if they can't score, they can't win. The other option is forcing the home team to score twice to win.

I believe in aggressive play. If you let the run in you are playing for the tie. I think you have to go after the lead runner.

It is amazing to me how many runners just take off when that bunt is laid down, assuming that the throw is going to first. Make the play on the lead runner if possible but make sure you record an out if they bunt. My philosophy has always been to get an out somewhere on anything in the infield. The last thing you want to do is let a 1 run inning become 3 or 4 because you kept chasing a lead runner that you couldn't get.
