Is there a rule?

Is there any sort of rule regarding cussing (from a coach)? I find it horrible taste and should not be allowed on the diamond especially younger than high school. Even then it is uncalled for. I overheard a coach at a recent tournament it wasn't directed at any particular young lady but it was still thrown out there while he was on the field.

USSSA Rule 12-1:

All players and coaches will be expected to behave in a sportsman like
manner at all times. Any player, coach or parent / fan whose conduct is
unbecoming or abusive will at a minimum be warned and may be removed
from the playing field or stands at the discretion of the Tournament
Officials or the umpires. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated
under any circumstances. Cursing or throwing equipment will be an automatic
ejection. This includes a team forfeiting or being removed from the
tournament if necessary.

Other sanctioning bodies have similar rules.

as a umpirei hear a coaching cussing no matter who it is directed to he just wrote himself a free pass to t
the parking lot. It is unsports man like and i wont tolerate any behavior of sort on my field for no reason.
And as parent i would think the your kids shouldn't have to be around someone who is suppose to be setting a good example of spotsmanship and life traits.I would call this person to the carpet.

That is what I would have thought but it must not have been heard (even though he yelled it) or the ump at the time just didn't feel the need to eject him. If it were my daughters coach I would have pulled her by now. I was merely a spectator. Hopefully my daughters team never plays them because his behavior was immature. The sad thing is that he looks like an idiot and that reflects on the organization and it is an awesome group of talented girls.

during last years Stingrays tourney, one coach, let's just say from Michigan, blurted a big one during a game with the Lasers...pretty funny, but our girls were all like, "what did he just say?"

cant say I've heard it much this year, (as the echo of my own permeates through my ears)
