Signing up for one of these events is like buying a lottery ticket if your a parent.Got to show up at the event(store) to see if you won (entered).Don't get me wrong like the events,just don't like the information available on Nat Pgf or local info imop.

Say what you want about ASA, but their tournament coverage local to national events is excellent, regarding scores, alerts and brackets.

Mike and Okie every event I run is on Tourney Machine form day one with constant updates. The Nationals are updated play by play in elimination. As far as the Fall Brawl it is not posted on here but the coaches have been getting updates constantly, and Tourney link was email to every college head coach in the country. Now I can not speak for others only myeself.

The team list is and has been on the tourney machine link for both the fall events I run. America's Premier(Open Event ) and Fall Brawl (Invitational) fills in spring so don't look to drive interest but information has also been on tourney machine. As far as the National site it was updated for there National Qualifiers but many events local and national futures events used there own sites to track the things you are asking for. I went back and looked at the Ohio PGF events and it appears everyone did a good job for the most part keeping there lists updated on here or on there own site. As far as other states I can't comment because I really don't know what they do.

Hosting these events is a business and money is made to cover whatever costs the TD deems necessary.Like any business if you don't show value for the price eventually you will have no business.To compare these two events shows what is in place w ASA for tourney info.PGF National really needs to step up and create a comparable format for there regional hosts to use.Right now the burden is on the local reps,which I'm sure can be over whelming .As for the invitational format being the thing for Pgf that can a draw for college coach's seeing only the best or there own teams if there a org leader as well as TD, ASA has provided that option in its USA/ASA,GOLD Divisions making the team quality the emphasis not who you know or what your in charge of.I want Pgf to come up to speed on some of things ASA does. because competition keeps prices down for consumers.

I post my opinion about how well I feel ASA communicates and there fee's are less then the AVG. $800.00 fee with the same great competition and exposure for our dd's. Not to mention no "stay to play" stipulation at certain events...

Next thing I know Warren Wolff is emailing my "personal" email address attacking my post and expressing his dissatisfaction with it. Asking me if I have an agenda???? And asking why the "cheap shots"?? And less then 30 minutes later it's removed... That's laughable...

Well Mr. Wolff I thought OFC stood for "Ohio Fastpitch Connection" And it was a blog/format for everyone interested to comment and state there opinions regardless if others agreed or disagreed.... There was no "cheap shots" or agenda... I didn't comment about a particular organization or team. I simply stated my opinion and it was removed... I feel someone is abusing there power and I don't think that was Ricky's intent when starting this site and allowing certain people the "privilege" to moderate.


I just stated for 800.00 per a PGF showcase or event I feel like there should be more of a website/format like the one ASA/USA offers.. Sorry you didn't agree...

It seems to me there is only one person on here with an agenda... That would be you Mr. Wolff...

He lives in Youngstown and he's got some ball teams.

A coach or 2 has turned out to be a user, a cheater, and now he's having trouble with the PGF web site. All you people care about is... Which colleges and which teams will be at the showcase next weekend.

HE'S A HUMAN! What you don't realize is that Warren is getting power 5 schools to watch 10 year olds play and all you do is write a bunch of crap about him.

LEAVE HIM ALONE! You are lucky he even emailed some D3 schools for you --------!
