While not exactly SW , Portsmouth Notre Dame (think div 6) is going to have at least 1 JR high team and looks like we may field a seperate 7th and 8th grade team. I was asked to coach the 7th grade bunch but have not accepted yet, want to make sure there is enough girls to play. We would have at least 1 6th grader (my kid) and maybe a 5th.
I'm excited about it, to think that we have that many girls willing to play is great. This is a very small private school. most classes are 20-25 kids. Last year I think we had 33 out of 38 or 39 boys participate in football. MD
Tippecanoe Jr. High Should do great this year. They have the complete package. Great pitching, Great hitting, Great fielders, and just all around great athletes on the whole team.
Tipp City High School looks to have another great group of girls coming up thru the ranks.
The following schools have Jr. High club teams: Glen Este, Loveland, Nagel, Sycamore, Princeton, Kings, Lakota, Mason, and Amelia -- just to name a few!!!
No , Portsmouth HS (the old one , demolished last year) was down the street from the old Richards news---you are showing your age --- Richards news has been out of business 15 years or so. ND is off Kinneys lane , turn north off kinneys across from the old Mercy Hosp building. Up beside the CAY building. MD
