We will be at the Cleveland Metro ASA/USA qualifier this weekend. Wish we could be two places at the same time, given some of the other tournaments that weekend.

I must agree with the crowd on this one, the Orrville "Fire in the sky" tournament is a must for 14U teams. The atmosphere around there is amazing and the competition is very good bringing teams from everywhere. The girls having the chance to play in the stadium in front of hundreds if not a thousands of people that come out for the fireworks is an extra incentive for them also.

There is a good tournament in Sioux Falls called the Ringneck that is going on 30 years and until the Colorado tourney's started chipping away at it had a lock on the best teams in the 5 states around MN. Some MN teams this year are going to a NSA in St. Louis that weeked that is a 9 game guarantee Fri-Sun.

The fireworks in Colorado is obviously the big college showcase, but it's expensive, spread out over an entire week which makes it more expensive, and difficult to get into in year one which means potentially playing the Sparkler one year and finishing well to have a chance to get into the Fireworks the following year. The sparkler will take anyone with a pulse and a check, huge tournament that breaks into 5 brackets after pool play.
