My dd was going to catch for "PPhilly" dd....... but he never got back to me after I pm'd him. My dd was too young to go to clinic as a player (catcher). She's not a freshman till next yr. Hopefully that guy finds someone to catch for her?

DD pitched in the first session, 830am to 930am. She is asophomore so I was not able to watch her. The freshman and sophomores where onthe side of the field where there was no people allowed. I did watch all theJuniors and Seniors in both sessions. I clocked just about every pitcher thatshowed speed. The ones that pitcher 58-60 I clocked several time throughout thesession. There was only 2 pitchers in the first session on the Juniors andseniors side that hit 60mph. In the second session there were 2 that hit 60mphand 1 that hit 61mph.

I do want to say thanks for KSU for putting this on. This is our second yearand the coaches that come out to watch the pitchers is worth the money you payand the travel it takes to get there.

maybe it was just me, but there were just too many players to choose from. I am not sure how a college coach could look at it all and determine how one player is so much better than another. hour after hour, player after player, 600 players or so. Wouldn't they all just blurr together after a while?

Agree Woolfman, I was there myself most of the day & can honestly say that none really stood out. Many good players. There were maybe 3-4 pitchers that I seen that you could see had more speed but none that made you snap your head around. But isn't this where the recruiting process takes over?

Here's the list of attending schools and coaches from the KSU website. For such a highly touted camp, I thought I would see other regional schools there like BGSU, WSU, NKU, Urbana, Toledo, Ball State, etc. Do I have the right list? Am I missing something? I'm by no way knocking the schools that were represented; I just honestly thought that other schools would have an interest in attending the camp as well.

Those are the coaches who worked the camp, I believe. A lot more coaches were there to recruit than what is listed above. Actually, I know a bunch of coaches who worked the camp who aren't on that list. You might have one page of the list of coaches who attended or something like that.

There was probably twice that many schools there from what me and my daughter would guess.

I would say 80 percent were Dlll 15 percent Dll and 5 percent Dl.

There were alot more coaches there than on the list above. My daughter is a pitcher and was spoken to by 4 schools that you don't have listed during the session. Two were Div1. It was the most impressive attention she's received anywhere so far in one place. We would definitely go back.

Agree, excellent camp. Some noticed and contacted my Dd that were new to her. Many spoke to her and she had fun too!

The college coaches generally come to the Camps and Showcases with a specific list of players to watch. They are not scanning the 600 hoping to find one. They are checking out the 30 or 40 that they already know something about. [Now, when one of those "head turners" shows up they will still take time to watch them.]

I want to thank all of the athletes that attended the KSU showcase camp. Our hope is that this event is beneficial for both athletes and college coaches. There were over 130 college coaches in attendance from Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Jr Colleges. Coaches came from Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and Georgia.

Are there any results posted anywhere for the testing at the camp such as pitchers velocity or running times?

DD said that she heard coaches talking about a pitcher in the white shirt group (2015) that was hitting 65-66mph.
