Warhawks 12u 05 looking for 3 utility players with travel experience to finalize our roster.
We train at Oberlin College where our players are able to improve their skills year round, utilizing nearly 17,000 square feet of playing surface at our top notched indoor facility Williams Fieldhouse. Our coaching staff combines 40 plus years of athletic training, sports and softball knowledge. Coach Dixon played four sports at Elyria Catholic High School, four years of football at The University of Akron and one year with Tiffin University baseball before playing semi-pro baseball with the Richmond Roosters. "I'm an athletic trainer and have numerous D1 and collegiate athletes in all sports. As coach, my primary focus is building softball players and while doing that, I also know first hand how to enhance overall performance through speed, agility and strength training as the players develop through the organization."
Coach Behlke is also an E.C. grad, where he was a standout athlete in football and baseball. Coach Behlke played four years of baseball at Tiffin University where he played multiple infield positions and excelled as a catcher. He also led the nation in batting average his senior year as a hitter. He spent his 5th year of College as an assistant at Tiffin as a hitting and catcher coach. Assistant coach Shawna Behlke played Softball at Tiffin University and is a tremendous asset to our coaching staff. We combine our experience with Oberlin College Head Coach Sara Schoenhoft, Assistant Coach Sally Snover, hitting coach and Assistant Coach Olivia Wulfhoop, pitching coach. The first six weeks of our winter training are spent working alongside of this skilled staff emphasizing fundamentals, skills and proper mechanics. The remainder of our indoor season is dedicated to team softball where we breakdown each facet of the game while continuing our off season workout and training sessions to prepare these young athletes for our tournament season.
