Congratulations to the dedicated players coaches and families for going a perfect 6 and 0 at the 2nd annual Ft. Wayne classic at the Dome this past weekend.

The competition varied... from younger 10U teams all the way up to at least three teams playing a few to the majority of next years 11U kids.

The Lasers scores were....
Lasers vs (IN) Red Chix 10 - 1
Lasers vs (MI) St Joe's Xstreme Gold (11U) 6 - 0
Lasers vs(IN) Indiana Magic 11 - 2
Lasers vs (OH) Nitro 8 - 2
Lasers vs (IN) Twist (11U) 3 - 2
Lasers vs (OH) Nitro 15 - 7 (R.rule)

There wasn't a lot of Indiana or Michigan fans around for the OH...IO chant at the end due to the all Ohio final!

Congrats TRB to your daughter and the Lasers team. I see that they are brave enough to put your mug in the team photo now, on your team website! LOL.

Congrats TRB and lasers......forum members familiar with the 10U division, are the lasers that good or are the other teams still working out the kinks this early in the season.

Confused because looks like lasers have beat 11U competition while taking care of business at the 10U level. Lasers must have kinks worked out already.

Thanks

Boy, it sure is good to have a friend like you!
Today on the website... tomorrow who knows...? I'm shooting for Hollywood! (can I barrow Aubs sunglasses?)

I'm thinking of making a "take of" movie of the Bad News Bears but fastpitch. I am thinking of two former coaches you and I know well, they can play "Coach Buttermaker"!

What do you think?

In addition, if you are a little nicer to me I'm thinking there is a spot in the movie for you....

Seriously, I have to tell you I think you are going to see allot of similar photo this next year. These girls get it.... They have the heart, the talent, and the sense of "Team".

There were 2 (2009)11u teams at this tournament. Not sure why they would come to a 10u tournament. Glad they did, the Indiana Twist team was very good. They made the Nitro team really work for the W, which will help out the Nitro get ready for next spring and summer.

The Laser SS is a true 10u. Although she plays like a 14u. Great at all aspects of the game. Nice girl too.
