The Lady Lasers Orange won the Championship by defeating the Central Ohio Ice in the two versus three seed game 14-4 and then by defeating the Ohio Ice 7-6 in the Championship Game.

Well done Lasers in your first tournament.

Great 12u games this weekend, very evenly matched teams.

We must have had at least 6 ITBs. The 4 game round robin finished:

Ohio Ice - 3-1
Central Ohio Ice - 3-1
Lasers Orange 2-2
Stingrays 12u - 2-2
Classics 11u - 0-4 (but in almost every game)

Contrats to the Lasers Orange coming from the 3 seed to finish first.

The Laser Orange team spent all day Saturday moving girls around at every position. Today they made a statement even though a couple of their key girls didn't play due to injuries. Not bad for 3 practices. This is the first time they played together in any sort of game. This team is loaded with talent at every position. The Stingrays, Central Ohio Ice, Ohio Classics and the Ohio Ice are all teams to be reckoned with in 2010.

Would like to thank Mike and the Lasers Black for the opportunity to play top notch competition at a well run tourney. When Matt put our team in the tournament, I was like.... We were able to see where we are and where we need to be. We were never in a ITB game all of last year. And to be in two of them in one weekend was an expierence! (I don't like em') Congrats to Laser's Orange on the win. CO Ice, Stingrays, Ohio Ice all great teams and will do well in 2010.

Thank you for a great tournament. To get the fields in the shape they were in on Saturday morning had to have taken herculean effort after what they looked like earlier in the week before the rain. Great logo and the players liked the on-demand t-shirt screening. We hope you'll make this an annual event going forward. Congratulations to the Lasers for winning both age groups on Sunday!

It was a wonderful weekend for softball, although it was painfully cold! Big Thanks to Mike for putting on a great tournament. The competition was fierce at the 12U level. Congrats LASER ORANGE - way to pull together as a team !!! only 3 practices and first time this team has played together. wow.

Alot of good compitition at 12U - 2010 should be a good year for 12U. Looking forward to the spring season.

You are very welcome. Everyone seemed to have a good time and there was very little drama or conflict amongst teams and/or umpires.

We plan on doing this again next fall with more teams and maybe some fun and quirky gimics you can only do in a fall tournament.

I have already submitted my request for improved tempatures, but I shouldn't be complaining because it could have been worse - it could have been raining.
