Ohio Lasers Green 14U...

I will be attending the Wednesday Dayton, Saturday Akron/Mansfield and Sunday Columbus tryouts. We are interested in a dominant Pitcher, Catcher, Outfielder and Infielder. All positions and both 01 and 00 years will be considered. I have no daughter on this current Team, as this is my 3rd time going through the process. If you are a player who dreams of playing at the next level, works hard year around and the family is willing to travel a showcase schedule...then you should consider trying out. Ohio Lasers Red 16U Tryouts

The 2014/2015 season will be coached by Steve gambone.Steve is a non-parent coach with a resume of college recruiting.He coached the lasers Gold team and accomplished a ASA/USA National Championship with many tournament victories Nationally.

We will be looking for high caliber athletes that desire to play collegiate softball.Tryout positions include infield,outfield,athletes with speed and power.Our schedule will be a balance of college showcase and high caliber tournaments with a common team goal of a National Championship.

Lasers 12+U Black -

Kelly Kovach Schoenly, the head softball coach at the Ohio State University, will help coach and train the players on our Lasers 12+U Black.

Chris Lucas will be the head coach of our Lasers 12+U Black. He helped coach our Lasers 18+U Gold with Steve Gambone. He has coached travel and school ball for years as a head coach. His youngest daughter played for our Lasers Gold and just graduated from high school. She will be playing for Youngstown State. She will be majoring in education and will help coach.

Lasers 9U coach will be at Beavercreek, Columbus, and Mansfield. Look forward to seeing some great 9U players. Will be more then happy to make a trip if possible to meet any other players interested. Just shoot me a message or text.

Be careful here! This is Coach Ferguson's third team in less then a month. Doesn't seem to be able to make up his mind as where he wants to coach.

Yes he did finish last season. Went to be an asst at Thunder now at Lasers

Only reason I asked was if he finished his season and tryouts are right now starting, it doesn't seem like he let any kids down to me. Opportunities arise and sometimes people change their mind just like a kid leaving one team and going to another, at least he finished his season out. Sounds like he may have had an opportunity or simply a change of heart. Nows the time to do it if your going to. I don't know the guy or the situation, just saying.

This is simple. I finished my season with Hawks and we had a successful year with 8yr old to 10yr olds. Team was a mix and was going to break up. ANother team made an offer and it is a class organization and was a great fit. I was happy to asst coach with with the class organization but in the end my daughter is a 9yr old and would have been the only 9yr old on the team. I talked with the head coach in detail about this cause he is top notch and in the end decided to take the 9U Lasers to allow my daughter a very strong team to play on and in the end continue on with after the year. It was simply the future of her I was looking out for.

I look forward to putting together a great 9U team that can stay together for years to come. I will coach with passion and give every girl that plays with me 100% of my attention and ability to improve them.
