First let me say I dont want to take anything away from the great defense or hitting this team displayed at Nationals. It was top notch...
I just wanted to take the opportunity to give some long deserved kudos to our two pitchers. Emma Johnson and Lindsey Rich proved this past week that they are just unbelievable pitchers. To watch them dominate (at times) some of the top teams in the country. Both looked awesome in the loss to the California Cruisers (who finished 3rd), each pitcher had at least one shut out this week and they pitched 6 games in a 20 hour period on Friday and Saturday. They proved that their talent and determination can go up against anyone.
I think Kent State got themselves a HUGE find and wherever Lindsey decides to go, they will be lucky to have her.
I am just so impressed with them both and so proud of them...great job ladies.
