Looking for a catcher and 2 hitters for Maninno's starting in October
LIVE SOFTBALL PITCHING HITTING LEAGUE 2014-2015
The Live Pitching/Hitting League provides the pitcher, catcher and batter with a live-game situation without the mess of the whole team. Each week teams compete in a seven inning game (or hour and 15 minute time limit) with an umpire.
Each player bats every inning and points are awarded for each position (pitcher, catcher, batter). For example, line-drives hit into designated areas of the net, successful bunts, fielded bunts, strike outs, walks, passed balls, dropped 3rd strikes and catcher throw downs. At the end on the last innning, the team with the most points wins.
The Live Pitching/Hitting League creates a situation where a player can practice under "Semi-Pressure" situations. Seven at-bats per game against a live pitcher and umpire....What's more important than that?
