My dd is looking to get a new bat and she's torn between the techzilla and
cf3/cf4. We were wondering if there is any place where she could try out these two bats before we buy them...

Don't know where you are located, but Grand Slam Sports in Troy, Ohio is a place where you can try out Demarini bats. Their phone number is 937-552-7751

I have a girl on my team who has both the techzilla and CF4. She swings the CF4 and likes it much better. The techzilla feels heavier because it is very end loaded. Not sure how old your DD is and if she likes an end loaded bat.

Since you can get one end loaded and one balanced, why not buy them both? lol!

Not against two bats, but don't mix end loaded with balanced unless you really want to mess up your swing.

Thanks for all the suggestions, we're probably heading to Troy to try out the DeMarini's.

CBW in Springboro... On Pioneer by the baseball field.
Good selection of bats cheaper than you will find them in a typical sporting goods store. AND - they have two indoor areas where you can try the bats out with either a machine, off a tee or through someone throwing to you.
The owner - Jerry Salyers - is a long time baseball guy who is in it for the kids and is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Good one. That is where we tested her Rip It. Go to one of his clinics and he brings bats so you can test. Won't get to test an Easton product!

Hey KY25, I was wondering about the Techzilla; How is the end weighting compared to a Rocketech? I assume it's a little more balanced since its a -10. Does it kind of feel like an Easton or a Catalyst. Also, why doesn't hitter have Eastons in his garage? I wanna hear that story.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, the only thing that I could base my decision on is this editorial. My question would be who were the 52 that voted against having softball for the 2012 Olympics and why was James Easton's vote the deciding vote, seems like a funny way to resolve such an important issue. If there are any other "editorials" or opinions on this matter I would sure like to read them before I decide to boycott a quality product.

So let your finger's do the walking and research it for your self...talk to the players and people in the ASA and make your own assumptions as I alluded to....it is my opinion only...it would be like me asking you does it taste great or is it less filling :D
