The Lookouts 05 Premier team based out of Akron, OH will be adding a strong pitcher and a strong catcher to their team. Players can be an 04 or 05 birth year. We are a very competitive team looking to add two very competitive players. We have a strong college following and several of our girls have committed or have multiple offers at D1 and D2 schools.
All coaches are non-parent coaches. I am the head coach and have 20+ years of coaching experience, I coach in the USA Softball HPP Program, and I am the College Recruiting Coordinator for the Lookouts. The assistant coaches are/were college softball players with many years of combined coaching experience.
We will not be having a tryout, so interested players/families should contact me to discuss. We are happy to accomodate a strong pitcher who has a fall volleyball schedule that causes her to miss some fall softball, but she must be fully committed to summer tournaments.
We will be playing a competitive 2022 fall schedule such as Lasers, Wolfpack and D1 Fastpitch tournaments in Canfield, Victory Park and Berliner, and the Pumpkin Smash at Victory Park.
We will have extensive winter training that include 1) 18 hours of Kent State Fieldhouse, 2) weekly or bi-weekly individual team practices, 3) Indoor College Showcase such as KSU/Akron/YSU, 4) a full schedule of recruiting seminars, financial aid seminars, mental performance training, and more.
Our summer 2023 schedule will consist of 5 or 6 tournaments such as Lasers, Stingrays, D1 Fastpitch, Wolfpack, etc. We do not plan on extensive travel next summer.
