As always, Bev and her crew did a great job, and our girls had a blast canoeing, tubing and cooking s'mores on the campfire. For anyone who has never attended Loudonville or visited the area, I'd highly recommend it!

Congrats to the NEO Phoenix! Your team was on fire when you played us in the semi-final and it looks like you stayed hot! Wish we would have stuck around to watch that game.

Congrats also to all the people that worked to make the experience at Loudonville a great one! By far, Loudonville is our favorite tourney! Beautiful town, nice park, and very friendly people, from the TD to the concession staff.

Thanks Dadof51 and inforit51 for the kind words. We spend a lot of time on hitting and this weekend it seemed to click. NEO Phoenix had a great weekend playing GREAT teams. Thanks to the host staff for a wonderful event as well as a beautiflull venue. Thanks aslo to the Ashland Blaze and coach Gentry for a great final game. To the coaches of the Frost and Valley Extreme Blue, we hope your catcher and pitcher are doing well! Never like to see injurys. I hope that your right fielder is OK. That was a hard colision between her and our catcher of explosive black. Our catcher has to buy a new pair of pants and the bruise should look pretty awesome after the road rash fades.

Thanks initfor51 for asking. She is fine and will also need to buy pants(metal cheats are dangerous) I didn't mean to leave your catcher out of the post above but if I rememeber your catcher was doing ok and stayed in the game. The Frost catcher took a foul tip to the throat and left the game. The Valley Extreme Blue pitcher took a line drive to the upper shin and had to be carried off the field.
