Want to come play with the Madness? We are looking for players in all age groups to join our teams. We have two teams at every age level, black teams are odd birth years and red teams are even birth years.

Saturday August 2nd - 10u and 12u tryouts. 10:30am registration with the tryout running from 11:00am - 1:00pm

Wednesday August 6th - 14u, 16u, and 18u tryouts. 6:00pm registration with the tryout running from 6:30pm - 8:30pm

13u will be coached by Jen Short our returning 12u coach.

Mike practices in Lorain county at a few different sites depending on availability. All of our teams utilize the B.A.T cage in Brunswick which has 2 indoor fields as well as hitting and pitching lanes.

18u Red 96 is in need of 1 ace pitcher, 1 ace catcher, and position players: 3b, SS, 2b, 1b, LF, CF, RF. Utility players preferred. Our 2014 season was solid, as were our previous 2 seasons together: This year we earned a bid for, and competed at, ASA/USA 18u Nationals, finished high at many tournaments, and have seen players move on the collegiate level. We play in high-quality local and regional tournaments, focusing on showcases and qualifiers. We have attended Nationals each of the past 3 seasons, finishing very well at the Eastern Nationals in the previous two seasons.

There is a core of players returning for 2015 and the coaching staff looks to carry a roster of 12-14 (due to typical outside commitments at this age level). The coaching staff is comprised of former college softball players who focus on teaching the game, building character & gaining respect. Our utmost goal is to see our players grow and become ladies of high character who possess a respect for the game as a whole, sportsmanship & positive attitudes. Our second most important goal is to see the players continue playing at the next level; recruiting assistance is provided.

Players preferred: players wanting to play in college; utility players, excellent hitters, fast runners, softball-smart & positive, team-first minded.

Tonight's MC MADNESS tryouts have been moved indoors due to weather to the Brunswick BAT Cage at 1255 N Carpenter Rd, Brunswick.

Times are as follows:
6:00-7:00pm 11u & 12u
7:00-8:00pm 13u & 14u
8:00-9:00pm 15u-18u

Pitchers and Catchers should arrive 30 minutes prior to time listed above.

**Registration begins 30 minutes prior to times listed above. P & C should arrive with ample time to register and pitch prior to above start time, due to limited space and time.

The BAT permits only tennis shoes, turf shoes or molded cleats on their turf. Metal spikes are NOT permitted.
