Have heard from several coaches that some games are 1 1/2 hours behind schedule ??

Teams had to play back to back to back to back with only 10 minutes between games. (4 games back to back ?)

We stayed and watch the 16U up to the championship games. It came down to Heat 94 and Heat 95. Heat 94 would of had to beat Heat 95 twice in order to win. If Heat 95 won the first game then they would have taken the championship.

Does anyone know who won?

Congratulations to the Heat 94s for hanging tough, playing with a reduced roster and having two injured pitchers. Great coaching by Mardee, Don, and Dan, too!!!

Thanks Ted. We are kind of proud of the 9 girls that gutted it out for the 7 games. The smell of Bio Freeze and Ben gay and the extra trip for liquid Band Aids took its toll. Only 2 girls were playing there normal spots , so that says a bunch fo the kids that showed up to play.The girls gave the trophy to the 13 year old that pitched that last game. It was fun watching the kids cheering for each other during the games.

Congrats Ted and your 95's!!!! You have a strong, strong team and will only get better over the winter. Will be exciting to see you in action next summer. Your girls played strong, hit the cover off the ball, and truly earned your victories!!! Yes, our 94's had to deal with adversity but I am so proud of all of the girls on the team who wore Buckeye Heat on their shirt. Really hope we can see more of these all-Heat finals next summer

Games did get a little behind but overall a good weekend for softball. Teams did have to play back to back to back which is what happens when you get in the losers bracket. My team played 4 in a row on Sunday and lost a tough one in the bottom of the last inning to the Heat 94. It was a good ball game. It was great to get in 7 games this weekend. Good practice for us.

Real nice tournament, great for the Central OH Ice 15U to get in 5 games in a fall tournament. This team is an all new team so we are excited about their potential next summer. Congrats to the Heat 95, they were 2 of our losses.
