Wizards Beat Magic SGS 6-5 in Tie Breaker.

Venom 14u Black went 2-0 in pool, beating Buckeye Heat-Toledo 7-0, Marion Diamonds-Slob 6-5... drew the 4th seed... In our first bracket game we played the 5th seed SGS Magic (another very solid team), they went ahead in the first inning 5-0, after that we battled back.. but lost the game 6-5. Started off Sunday morning beating the Barracudas 12-0, then played the Buckeye Heat-Toledo team again and lost to them 3-2... it was a great game-great team... a few errors and non timely hitting cost us. Overall we are proud of our girls and how well they played... especially on Saturday we played 3 games back to back to back, no break.. no food, they never gave up.

My DD Pitched for SGS in the 1st bracket game. We were very fortunate to hold on for the very big win for our group. My hats off to your girls on a great battle. Final inning had us on the edge of our seat, and I gotta give it to our Left fielder with an incredible catch to end the game!

I just was so impressed with my daughters compsure throughout that battle. I had to laugh after the game though, because when I walked up to congratulate her, all she could say was what a cool jacket one of your parents/coaches was wearing....The one with the "Eyes" staring back at you.

Your left fielder deserves kudos for sure... that was my daughters hit, we all thought that was dropping for sure... what amazing effort to come up with that.
