Johnnies,

I'm not sure if that is sarcastic or serious, so I'll go with the humor side.

LOL

Tim and Chris 9:30 and 2PM. and as Johnnies posted two more after that depending on what we do in the first two games. We are coming down tonight, since it is a long drive from up here to Beavercreek. Did you guys here the story on the Axe Bat . Boy was that funny, with Berg... I'm sure Bustos got a kick out of it. Need to have H tell you the story. Off course if he had the lemming picture with the little NY hat , they would have figured out the joke.

Lady Knights posted the bat picture. The Lemming picture the boss handled on her lap top. The little lemming with the NY hat on was a work of art. If I can find it, I might have her update it , so one of the little lemmings has a flannel shirt on.

Many of you have sent me well wishes and offered up prayers for my son James and family. I will also be at Beavercreek with Jim and the Buckeye Heat '94 team Saturday. I will be the loud female coach causing Jim to constantly adjust his hearing aids! Please into yourself.

After that we came back to the house and Laura Berg wanted to hit in the garage....we used the 5 gallon bucket and brick and we set up the station where the ball is on a stick so you can use the hammer bat and the cord attaches to the lead arm. CB said work her out under the strobe light and as we did that I told her she would have some difficulty doing it because she does not turn her head far enough when tracking the ball. She missed the first few and then when I pointed out her nose being the indicator of how far her head was turned was not pointing far enough towards me and to watch the ball and she would see she was swinging over the top of the ball...she adjusted and said OK I got it and started hitting the ball in the zone marked on the net. She ask to turn the lights back on so she could see if it would make a difference in her tracking and she thought it was a great improvement. I was showing her the bunt bat with the catch basket on it and she got it the first time and as we were picking up the wiffle balls she picked up the axe bat and swung it and commented the axe head was located to close to the end of the bat and that it felt to heavy and CB told her it was indeed a little heavy however if she would start working out she could probably use it and hey Howard how many balls have we cut in half with this thing anyway? Laura did not know it was a joke! I looked at Laura and said it was a joke as some of my friends had made it and gave it to me. Laura said after seeing all the "stuff" in the garage, she thought it was real as she used the hammer bat and handled it very well and it was hanging in the bat rack with everything else. CB started laughing at her because she thought it was real and actually was swinging it!

Then I felt compelled to tell her about anyone who tried to teach what we were doing was called a lemming and she wanted to know if that made her one? I told her the next clinic we would make her one officially. Then I told her about Tim and hitting the tire and then about attaching the axe head to the bat to clear the lower 40 acres on his property so she could do her chores and practice at the same time and how he looked like Larry the cable guy....she said didn't I met him back in October? I had to laugh!:lmao:

Remember Laura is the one who put chalk on her hand as she shook hands with then President Bush slapped him on the back and left her hand print on his back. She is a joker and first class at it!

I'll be running back and forth between the 10u games at Rivershore and the Shootout at Pastime. Good thing gas is going back up!!

Breezy, I'm with ya'... wearing out third base line at the 10's  and wearing out the umps at the 12's ;&

Hey Lester

It looks like we (NK Bandits 12u) play the Static Teal at 12:30pm on field #2. Maybe we'll see ya there. Known OFC members from NK Bandits are Lenski, Mstbozz, and Front Row (Len, Mike, and Matt).

She is very special. My girls love her. And to be honest - so do I (in a sisterly way) My wife reads OFC.... Hi honey!

My game times are not good for that matchup. My DD is number 5 on teal. Maybe we can hookup on Sunday if the teal team plays after 2 or so. Stay in touch and I always have a Static get up on and my name on my shirt so Gooophy knows me too.

Will do. My DD is number 15 on the Bandits (She's normally number 5 also but it was already taken). Hope to see you Sunday.

Well, I talked with Softballcat at the Wildcat, but missed Wggy and Steam.
Better luck next week. Anybody at North Ridgeville this weekend?

I met so many OFC'ers over the weekend at the Wildcat tourney! It's great to put a name with a face now - Philbob (who I already knew, so I don't think that counts, lol), wgman, factoryrat, valleyextreme12u, wwolff and a few others that I don't remember off the top of my head now. It was great to meet everyone!
