I think that I've had the pleasure of meeting at least two dozen or more OFC posters.

Maybe the coolest meeting was Crush1! Last summer I was umpiring a slow pitch tournament for police and firefighters from all over the state (the only slow pitch games I worked all season). Crush1 was helping out by umpiring a few games and we had the chance to work a couple together. This was truly a chance meeting and we had never met before, but he recognized my name from this forum.

This coming weekend there is probably about a zero chance I'll be bumping into any new OFC'ers. With a rare weekend of no local ASA tournaments going on, I'll be working a men's fastpitch round robin "friendly" in North Lewisburg. Some of the guys playing I know already post here, either because they have daughters that play or they're pitching coaches that will be pitching that day.

Hope to be at the Whitehall tournament next weekend!

I had the pleasure of meeting Lester this weekend at Expressway Park. He's a very nice guy and we had a few laughs. Lester seems to have a nickname for every umpire he knows. He was killing me. Hollywood and Country were our umpires this morning. He knew them from Pastime Park. The nicknames matched them perfectly! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Hollywood rolled into Expressway in a tight black t-shirt, gold bracelet and necklace, medium length hair combed straight back, and sporting tear drop wire frame Ray-Bans. It looked like a scene straight from a bad 80's crime drama. The only things missing were the palm trees and hotties in bikinis!

Country strolled in already dressed for action, a fairly tall thin guy with fly-away hair, and a gait similar to Cro-Magnon Man. I couldn't stop laughing. I wonder if he owns a Trans-Camaro........

Anyway, Lester's kid is a baller so if you play the Static Teal 12u, do yourself a favor and don't hit it #5's way.
