Both 12u Wolfpack teams Entered this tournament. We called to inquire about several things and to request to not play each other. We were told that they would keep us at the same facility for pool play (happened), we would play at different times so we could watch each others games (Did not happen) and we wouldn't play each other... Initial schedule came out and we were set to play each other in the 3rd pool game. After several emails and phone calls we managed to get it changed. After day 1 they logged my 3rd pool game wrong giving us the loss instead if the win. They did fix that the next day. Day 2 of pool play our 3rd pool game the same thing happened. By the time we left the park, drove back to the hotel and got unpacked it was pushing 8:30/8:40. We noticed the error and the first email notifying the TD of the mistake was sent at 8:59 pm. Since we never got a response I tried calling at 9:48 pm and got no answer so I left a message. In the mean time our dinner arrived I got my girls fed. 2nd email was sent at 10:07 pm. We used the email system because when we called anytime prior to this we didn't get an answer. I made the 2nd phone call at 10:33 pm, again no answer and I left a message. I still have yet to get a response to ANY of my emails or phone calls. So now we are seeded in the Bronze bracket instead of the Silver bracket where we should have been. We arrived at the field today and my assistant called the TD 3 times to try to get an explanation of why this was never fixed. He didn't answer any of the calls but did call back. He response "we called at an inappropriate time for him, it was too late". I get that mistakes happen but is it really that hard to say you're sorry for the mistake and it's too late to make any changes? I still would of been upset but have the courtesy to own up to it and apologize. Here it is 11:15 pm and I still haven't heard from him. I will say that the young lady working that site did apologize several times for it after the championship game and I do appreciate that.

Staff: TD - Beyond poor
Concession - Good food. Reasonably priced.
Field Crew: I should say field guy. One person busting his butt to get the fields lined for every game. This guy deserves a standing ovation,a medal or something. So for what was there he did a dynamite job
Umpires - These guys and gals were loud with every call. There was never a question if it was a strike, ball, foul, out, safe or whatever. You'll have your questionable strike zones but all in all this was a top notch group. Other sanctions need to look at what this PONY group is doing because they are doing it right. Any time I wanted the field umpire to ask for help or vice versa it was granted happily and never with an attitude. They wanted to make sure the call was right just as much as the coaches, players and fans did. So umpires get an overall A in my book.
Facility - We stayed at St. Thomas all weekend so that's all I can comment on. Of the 3 fields we used they were all nice. Fields 2 and 3 are softball fields so no issues there (not sure about field 4 because we didn't play on it). Field 1 was a baseball field with a Mt. Everest for a pitchers mound. The field was great, the dugouts were outstanding but that mound was tough for both teams to deal with. Maybe limit the teams in the future and cut St. Thomas to only use fields 2,3 and 4..
Value - $875 for a 8GG and a PONY Qualifier. If PONY is your thing then maybe? I think I still say not worth it.

Being that I was blatantly ignored by the TD ruined any chance for my recommendation for any team to attend. I'm sure this tournament will continue to draw big crowds but I won't be apart of it or any tournament that has his name is attached to it.
