Xpress has formed a 16U-05 NON PARENT coached team for the upcoming 2020-2021 season and beyond! My name is Don Neuss, and I will be the head coach of the 05 16U team. I will consider 04 and 06 birth years but am looking to build primarily an 05 team that can stay together for the long haul.
I have been coaching softball at various levels for the past 18 years and coaching youth sports for 22 years. I plan on coaching this team through the 18U level and love the opportunity to build into the lives of young people.

We intend to play the following 2020-2021 schedule:
• 4 Fall Tournaments/Friendlies – looking to include 1 fall showcase (Fall schedule will be released 9/1/2020 or sooner)
• At least 2 Winter Indoor Tournaments (Winter schedule will be released 11/1/2020 or sooner)
• 7-8 Summer Tournaments (w/ 1-2 out of state tournaments, would like to go to a “national” and 3-4 showcases)(Summer schedule will be released 1/1/2021 or sooner)
We will hold a team practice after the team is formed in August and then will begin regularly scheduled practices the second week of September (typically Tues, Thurs, and Sat or Sun). We will continue with weekly practice at an indoor facility in the winter until school ball starts and then will break until our summer season.
